Theres no way Id buy a hybrid, alternate energy or even a 4 or 6-cylinder forced induction engine Corvette&.thats not what I want in a high performance Corvette. Sadly, the hand-writings already on the wall. Due to government mandates and CAFE standards Corvette announced the discontinuation of the iconic 427 engine some time ago. I feel going to a hybrid powered Corvette will truly be the beginning of the end for Americas high performance sports car. Going to a hybrid Corvette will IMO destroy the marque&.hybrid power is not what the Corvette is about.
